A small team with many skills. Ross attended Canterbury University from 1999 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting, Finance and Management Science. Kathy is a Chartered Accountant with a B. Comm and BA, Paulette and Liz are great with the administration, systems and keeping on top of the Monthly accounting, and workflow. Alison’s involvment includes the marketing and social events!
Some background - Business owners Ross and Alison were farming sheep and beef in Southland until 1997 – then we converted the farm to dairying with an equity partner and moved our young family to Christchurch – opportunities for us and Richard and Claire. BC (before children!) we also had a spell in Invercargill where Ross worked for then Coopers and Lybrand, as an accounts clerk, and Alison in banking and life insurance.

We owned The Manor, Boutique Hotel for a couple of years, and Ross has worked with Agriculture NZ & Dilana Rugs – until purchasing the SBA Riccarton franchise late 2007. Alison has been involved in real estate, kitchen design and more recently as a receptionist and deeds clerk in a legal firm before starting up SBA Riccarton with Ross.

We are business owners and have previously had businesses in farming, hospitality, and distribution. We also own a couple of rental properties - so can often relate to the opportunities and frustrations facing our clients.
